Ole man river keeps rollin’. The Reaper keeps comin’. Let’s get it on. Keep an eye on the 45 auctions. There are lots of great tunes to get down to. The Edna Brown tune is very interesting. It has a a Detroit Rockabilly showtune style. Maybe I will get the song posted
Cousin Justin
Justin just listed hundreds of 45s that are now up: Motown, Northern Soul, Funk, R&B, and Soul. All are going off for just 5 bucks plus flat rate shipping so check it out.

We recognize this day as a chance to reflect on the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the people and organizations surrounding him and supporting the beliefs he stood for.
We would like to take this time to reflect on Dr. King’s leadership in the non-violent fight for freedom and equality, and what it has done for our country. We encourage all of the people of the world to take today to think about Dr. King’s message, and continue to fight for social justice throughout the world as the well as the United States.
Educate yourself today. Listen to a recording of Dr. King’s speech. Read a book on civil rights history. Tune in to a radio station paying a tribute to Dr. King. Take that awareness and share it with others through your positive actions.
Josh found a video on the history of Northern Soul. Check this out.

January 7th at Hudson Mills in Ann Arbor is this disc golf tournament. Justin and Geoff have been playing 4-5 times a week lately, as the weather has been crazy warm for winter in Michigan. If you want to play with us, give us a call.

Speaking of disc golf, we were talking recently about why it isn’t a bigger sport or ever gets media coverage. This is a great article on why that doesn’t happen: http://blog.discmania.net/2007/01/04/power-of-the-black-box/
