Since hollie mentioned 13th floor, I have to say when I first heard this I thought it was a Texas band and not a Michigan band. It is hard to know for sure without some one that remembers the band

This is quite boring, like so many flip-sides of the garage 60's. But it's also above average 60's ballads.

I love this! It sounds like it was recorded in a stairwell with all that echo, and the occasional handclaps along with that fuzzy wah guitar make it sound like a Seeds track. I like the bit of a crooned break in the middle too, where you know that he was making the girls go wild.

"This is All I Ask" especially reminds me that the wah pedal was supposed to make guitars sound like trumpets with mutes. I also like how I can't tell just how sincere these guys are, like, is that ballad supposed to sound legitimately sappy or are they taking the piss with those backing vocals? I think I might even like the B-side more.

GREAT FIND!
