Whoo-weee are we going to have some soul auctions for you coming up. We’ve got so many soul 45s right now we don’t know what to do!

I bought this collection tonight that had a bunch of good soul 45s in it - the wife Thelma’s records, and the husband had a real nice blues and jazz collection. His name was Charles, and he was the bass player for a local blues and soul band called the Astronauts. He told me all kinds of stories about the band and said they once opened for Earth Wind and Fire at Chrisler Arena in the late 60s. They were a real nice couple - and my neighbors too! We even talked about which grocery store was better - Vons or Krogers. Charles said that on Tuesdays they got the senior citizens discount at Vons, but I’d have a while to go before I got that (I’m 29). I said at least I had something to look forward to!

Good ol’ Ypsilanti. The best folks in the world.

p.s: I don’t know what will be left of those blues records after Justin and I get done fighting for them.
