Also, a good internet radio stream is Pandora. It's know as the Music Genome Project, which is just cool. It creates a radio station based on an artist or genre that you plug into the player: it plays music that is similar to the artist or genre. It's great if you're looking for a ton of new music to listen to. It also allows you to save artists and songs and links to AMG and will tell you if the artist in question is on tour. I haven't used it in quite awhile, so I'm sure that there are new features. www.pandora.com.

Hey Geoff, did you know that one of the guys that owns PJs is a DJ at 89.1: Mark Taras. He spins Monday 8-10 PM and Saturday 7-11PM.

There are a lot of great internet only streams, but there is something special about the streams for a "real" radio station because it needs to broadcast for a particular environment

Not to mention, cuz, that WEMU's 89.1 has their very own jazz program every day that is considered one of the best in the world. Their "Sunday Best" show is awesome - the DJ plays all kinds of rare jazz recordings. It's the only station my regular radios at home are tuned in to, I wake up to the station everyday. The station blows all of XM's jazz channels out of the water.
