RIP Lyman Woodard

Legendary Detroit jazz-funk organist Lyman Woodard passed away a few days ago at age 66. The freep had a great write up on his life and career. I wrote about the Lyman Woodard Organization LP “Saturday Night Special” here. I think I’ll listen to that record tonight.
