Recorded in 1980 in the midst of the ska revival, aging Jamaican ska pioneer Desmond Dekker showed the Brits how it was done. A great start to finisher, it’s probably one of my top 20 favorite records in my collection. Allmusic slammed it, but luckily one writer’s opinion isn’t the gospel truth.
