While I was on my recent trip to Saint Maarten I stumbled across a great radio station. With everyone streaming online I figured it would be a great start to create a list of free online streams of great radio stations. Comment with your favorite and I will add it to this original post.
Island 92 FM Saint Maarten- Their tag line is-Rock, Blues & Good Time radio, can’t say that I disagree. Best listened to with beer in hand while on the beach.
WEMU 89.1 Ypsilanti, MI-Eastern Michigan University’s local/NPR Station: great American Routes show Sat 4-6, plus top notch daily jazz.
My wife I just bought this print from local Ypsilanti, MI photographer Matt Callow. Originally from England, he has made Ypsi his home and does amazing work in pinhole and toy camera photography. He uses local buildings, surroundings, and nature as his subjects, and they turn out both haunting and beautiful. This is a picture of the Norris Building in Depot Town, just down the street from me. I’ve also noticed hidden crosses in the photos I’ve seen, but maybe I’m just seeing things - I’ll have to investigate more. It may work to evoke subliminal sacredness that adds to the effect of photos.
