Max has been a music fan his entire life. His interests range from jazz fusion, rock and roll, protopunk and new wave to soul. He’s a freelance music journalist based in Ann Arbor. He grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, went to Michigan State University, spent four years in Chicago, and is happy to be back. We are happy to have his contributions to the Cousins site.
